  1. looks like Lobel and Kulhawik are out too!

  2. The big money contracts of a bygone (pre-internet) era just can’t be justified in today’s lean budget media outlet world. Lobel, for one, has definitely lost a foot off his fastball.

  3. First it was Sara Underwood Then Barry Burbank, now It’s Bob Lobel,Joyce Kulhawik, and Scott Wahle. It seems like bz is letting all of the talent go. I guess i’ll watch channel 5.

  4. snap yo

  5. I wonder who else next?

  6. News is moving towards all beautiful people and the veterans with the credibilitly are out. All reporters are models now. At least the women reporters for the most part. Even on the national stage.

  7. Bob Lobel has been awful for the past year. I think his drinking really got to his career.

  8. Lobel should have been gone 10 years ago….. Jackie McMullan of the Globe must have been watching him through “beer googles” ’cause he was nowhere near as attractive as she made him to be in the Globe yesterday. I thought he was obnoxious and overly impressed with his own slyness.

  9. I hope who ever is the person responsible for letting some of the seasoned talent go, gets to lose his or her job as well, for being such a jerk.

  10. Losing Joyce Kulhawik is HUGE. A Boston icon who would be very hard to replace.

  11. Lettting Scott Wahle go is a huge mistake. Only reason I switched from Channel 7 to 4. Will not watch 4 any more.
